Senior Managing Director and CIO, Seavest Healthcare Properties
Jonathan Winer is the Senior Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of Seavest Healthcare Properties. He joined the Seavest Investment Group in 2008 and has over 30 years of real estate experience. At Seavest, Mr. Winer has multi-faceted responsibilities including directing both the acquisition and asset management groups for the healthcare real estate portfolio.
Prior to Seavest, Mr. Winer was a Partner at EY LLP where he directed the Healthcare Real Estate Advisory practice. Previously, Mr. Winer was active with Chemical Bank and Bear Stearns & Co., Inc. where he specialized in providing tax-exempt financing. Mr. Winer is a frequent speaker at healthcare real estate industry events including conferences and seminars sponsored by the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the Interface Conference Group, among others.
He serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of the publication Healthcare Real Estate Insights and is the past Chair of the ULI Healthcare and Life Sciences Council. Mr. Winer has an M.B.A. from New York University and a B.B.A. from George Washington University.
